This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit in any way your statutory right, including your rights to a remedy or means of enforcement We greatly respect your privacy, which is why we make every effort to provide a platform that would live up to the highest of user privacy standards. Information Gathering and Usage

We may collect both “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information” about you. “Non-Personal Information” includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit, and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. “Personal Information” includes information that can be used to personally identify you, such as your name, address, and email address.

When you register for any EmployTask product, we will ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, billing address, credit card information.  Members who sign up for the free account are not required to enter a credit card.

EmployTask uses collected information for the following general purposes: services provision, billing, identification and authentication, Service improvement, contact, and research.  EmployTask does not share your personal information with third parties unless explicitly approved by you.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our websites and the quality of our Service and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide services you’ve requested when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

When it is necessary to share your PI in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of the specific application, or as otherwise required by law.

When we transfer your PI if EmployTask is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, EmployTask will notify you before PI about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

In addition, we may also track information provided to us by your browser and mobile device IDs when you view or use the Service, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the Service, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you.

If you do not wish to disclose any or part of your PI to us, you may still be able to use some of the functionalities of our Services, though we will not be able to guarantee that you will be able to enjoy them at their fullest if you elect not to disclose it to us.  Overall, your final remedies will be to close this web tab, delete your account with us and/or exit our Service.

Information Collection And Use

 

While using our Service, we will ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally, identifiable information may include but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address, other information (“Personal Information”). We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, improving our services and marketing communication. Consent and Scop of this policy

By accessing our Services, you accept our policy and terms, and you consent to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your PI information as described in this Privacy Policy.  In addition, by using our Service (on our websites or across partnered and unaffiliated sites) you are accepting the practices described in this Policy.  We will also ask for your specific consent to certain parts of the Service (i.e. newsletter subscription) via clickable boxes with legends similar or analogous to “I Accept”.

Email Communications & Opting Out

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages users access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or website registrations).

We will send you Service-related announcements on occasions when it is necessary to do so.  For instance, if our Service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, or a new enhancement is released, which will affect the way you use our Service, we might send you an email.

Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature.  Based upon the PI that you provide us, we may communicate with you in response to your inquiries to provide the services you request and to manage your account.  We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.  We may also use your Personal Information to send you updates and other promotional communications.

If you no longer wish to receive those email updates, you may opt out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each update or communication.

Log Data

 

We will also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics. In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this Website. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Website and our products. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with the Personal Information we collect. Compliance With Laws

We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.

 

Location Data

Once you download the mobile app, the mobile app will request access to your device location. When access is granted, EmployTask will be able to track the physical location of your device. This information will be used to provide the Service and to improve our mobile App. You can remove the App location tracking or change the location tracking permission to a specific time by changing your privacy settings on your device.

 

Changes to this Policy

EmployTask may periodically update this Policy.  We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat PI by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your EmployTask Service primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our websites.  Your continued use thereof after the last effective date of modifications thereof indicates your acceptance of such modifications.

Cookies

 

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our Services for you. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Any information you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any, governing privacy and security, even if accessed through the Service. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services to which links or access are provided through the Service. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with information.


Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16 without obtaining parental consent. If you are under 16 years of age, please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any manner. If we learn that Personal Information has been collected on the Service from persons under 16 years of age and without verifiable parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 16 years of age has obtained an account on the Service, then you may alert us at privacy@employtask.com and request that we delete that child’s Personal Information from our systems.

Data Retention

 

We take measures to delete your Personal Information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to retain this information for a longer period. When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the type of services requested by or provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrolment with our services, the impact on the services we provide to you if we delete some information from or about you, mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations

Service providers

We may share your Personal Information with our business partners with whom we jointly offer products or services. We may also share Personal Information with our affiliated companies. We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
